  1. Oh boy, I bought this because I was hoping to get some green coconut action–but sadly it’s such a minor note (HOWEVER, I do frickin’ love pumpkin and Arcana’s honey notes so I hoarded my bottle instead of destashing it). This is a scent that truly needs a lot of rest–when I first got it, the perfume genuinely smells like toffee crisps (with cardamom and clove in the mix).
Now after two months of purchasing this scent, the pumpkin and coconut cake are starting to get noticeable–and it’s genuinely a good mix (the coconut cake smells creamy and nutty like the inside of peshwari naan bread (if you have no idea what the heck I’m talking about, stop what you’re doing and get some. It’s the most delicious bread in the world), and the pumpkin note smells both creamy and vegetal (like it reminds me a lot of roasted butternut squash). I definitely don’t get basic ‘pumpkin spice mix’ out of this, but the downside is that the honey note amps SO HARD that it’s still too sweet for me to wear it outside. I still love this marriage of coconut cake and pumpkin, so I’ll be leaving my bottle to rest more and see how it further changes.

  2. Pumpkin & coconut is one of my favorite combinations, and this doesn’t disappoint. The pumpkin is strongest at the beginning – It’s warm, a little spicy, and just sweet enough. Equally as noticeable is the soft coconut cake, enrobed in honey with more soft spices. The vanilla is present but taking a backseat, and the honey is not too sharp. This is beautifully blended, and it smells like a wonderful melange with notes becoming apparent the longer you sniff. I also think this would be a great gourmand for someone who doesn’t want to smell literally like food.
