  1. The allspice and rose in this one ruined it for me. I amped both notes and like another reviewer (Several Ghosts) wrote it’s very reminiscent of potpourri. This scent did not work with my skin chemistry.

  2. Opens with strongly resinous amber (reading simultaneously warm and cool) and very saccharine vanilla that thankfully mellows with wear. When first sampled, the woodsmoke note was shockingly reminiscent of temple incense, but two months of rest has mellowed it from literal smoke and ashes to lightly-spiced cedar. Rose surfaces sometime into the drydown, when Conjure begins to morph into dry vanilla and sharp woods without any of the smoke or spices.

  3. Conjure is one of my favourite woody perfumes- although I wasn’t sure what to think of it when I first received it. It’s..like light-cinnamon (allspice), a little powdery.. vanilla (marshmallow), with wood.. light cedar. I love marshmallow scents a lot, and I also love most wood scents and there’s no dirt hint which makes it a winner in my books.

It’s a very warm and pleasant smell that I feel could be easily worn by any gender- a great perfume for a cold day.. The allspice compliments and is well-blended with the other notes. It has always lasted a long time and isn’t an in your-face scent.

  4. Smoky rose incense and a hint of spicy cedar. It honestly smells a bit like potpourri to me and I can’t get over it enough to like this one.
