Pumpkin Spice Latte

Brand: Solstice Scents

Scent Description:

This caffeinated concoction starts with fresh roasted pumpkin spice coffee ground and brewed as an espresso. Monin Gingerbread syrup, frothy steamed milk and fresh made gingerbread whipped cream dusted with cinnamon and freshly grated nutmeg complete it.

The perfume is a blend of coffee essential and fragrance oils, sweet pumpkin, gingerbread whipped cream, cinnamon and a drop of nutmeg essential oil. Upon application, coffee is the first note to emerge, immediately followed by a spicy cinnamon. After just a few minutes a sweet syrupy scent emerges. The true dry down scent rises after about 15 – 20 minutes on the skin at which point the spice mellows and the coffee, pumpkin and cream all perfectly swim together in a pleasingly balanced brew.

  1. quite an accurate pumpkin spice latte, except there’s an additional note that’s quite light, almost biscuit-y like Nilla. I actually like Nilla, so it works out.

  2. I hate gourmands, but I do like this. It’s a perfect blend of warm gingerbread spices that have their sweetness tempered by a dark, rich coffee note. The spices are present on their own, reminiscent of gingerbread but without any baked goods notes that might make this scent more food-like. I don’t detect creamy/milk notes in here, but the overall blend does come off as quite smooth and with a hint of vanilla under the dark coffee, which makes me think it’s smoothing out any astringencies. 4 hr longevity, coffee note disappears after this. Quiet to moderate throw.

  3. Very similar review across the board. Spices are true to form, and the creamy, pumpkiny nature of the actual drink itself is smooth and even. It smells, really, like sticking your nose right in a mug of it. It stays a good long while on my skin, and I’m happy to say it’s not overwelmingly cinnamony, which I can’t do.

  4. My review is pretty similar to Bun’s- this is a lot of spice and nutmeg with nice coffee in the background. To be honest, I don’t smell the cream as much- the coffee I smell is more black than I’d have thought. That’s why I love it so much though; I’ve been looking for a non-cloying, non-overly sweet cup of coffee and this is it 🙂

  5. Yummy coffee with lots and lots of spices! I’d say 70% spice, 30% coffee and cream. Really smells like you just got back from a coffeeshop. Stays on pretty long too, dries down to a caramely smell.
