Brand: Stereoplasm
Scent Description: Tightly-bound leather pages, grand mahogany and an enfleurage of night-blooming jasmine in saffron and ancient myrh oil. Base notes of charred clove, royal amber and a touch of smoked sage.
Released: Summer 2018
The jasmine was soft in this the first time I smelled it, but after a couple weeks it has become a lot more forward. The warm background of the spices and amber really makes it shine. It’s not in your face, but it is a really sexy scent and I love love love it!
I found this somewhat variable, with the jasmine coming out strongest in warmer weather. The leather, amber, and woods are consistent below and give it a definite ‘formal study’ air, like, yes, being in a diplomat’s office. I’ve yet to get much of the smoked sage but I think it’s blending into the saffron and myrrh to support a certain spicy warmth that makes the scent feel very cozy, especially for something with jasmine.
