Here’s the thing: Fuck Everyone

Brand: Sucreabeille

Scent Description:

You come home after a long day: you somehow ground dirt into your white shirt (HOW?), your friend ditched you, and the train held up your commute for 30 minutes – AGAIN. Now as you lay down to turn on some murder documentaries some asshole is knocking on your door, pleading with you to use your phone because their car broke down, and you don’t see a car in sight. So you leave them knocking, call the police, and turn the murder documentaries up to 11 after slipping on this rich scent of rich dark chocolate, dirt (yes I said dirt-trust me guys), and amber and tucking in with a nice shot of bourbon. Because here’s the thing-fuck everyone.

Scent notes: Bourbon, Rich chocolate, Dark amber, touch of dirt

  1. From the bottle, I got chocolate and bourbon and was so excited to try this one out. Those two notes did come out swinging, but they faded within a couple minutes on me. The dry-down left me with… just dirt. Dirt in the way that beets smell like dirt. The amber did start to come out after a while but was still overpowered by the dirt. I have to hand it to them for their realism, but I couldn’t walk around all day smelling like beets and sadly had to scrub this one.

  2. Deep chocolate and dirt. It is decadent without being overly rich or sweet. This is a nice scent to fall asleep to.
Straight from the bottle, you think it’s going to be intense. Straight from the bottle, I don’t like it. I was reluctant to actually try it but the dirt comes in and definitely grounds this perfume (pun intended).

I think the bourbon just deepens that chocolate note for me. I don’t get anything sticky or boozy which is nice for this one.

I wake in the morning with a faint amber lingering but nothing left of the dirty chocolate.

  3. I get a very well executed chocolate with an ambery sandalwood which lends a little earthiness. This is Afterglow’s less powdery cousin and is so so good!

  4. The bourbon and chocolate shine through at first, with the amber giving a base and the dirt giving it an earthy/musty smell that’s perfect for a fuck everything kind of day. I’ve been putting this on after work and it lasts at least 4-5 hours before bed, but has disappeared by the time I wake up. 10/10

  5. Blind, it smells like fresh and ever-so-slightly-sweet dirt at first. After several hours, the dirt fades some, and I smell something leathery (maybe the bourbon/chocolate blend?), followed by deep amber, then the dirt is in the background. Very unisex, in my opinion.
