  1. In bottle: cold, with a twinge of blood fruity enough to remind me of chewing gum over actual, coppery blood. Dragon’s blood, hey. If part of the cold is an icy mint than that further explains why gum is jumping to mind. Gets a little more gum-like on my skin. Points for keeping a nice balance between warm and cold as I get both of those things, but sadly I can’t un-smell the gum.

  2. In the bottle, this is a hit of sick-sweet blood. I’m not sure if I should call it citrus, but it’s a coppery scent. Once on the skin I found that I could get more of the frozen breath accord, which manages to be sharp and chilling. It’s close to the feeling of chewing spearmint gum in the cold, but without smelling like straight up toothpaste. Which is probably for the best, because the blood part of this is tangy, almost like…citrusy? maybe a bergamot, or something less strong than say, full on orange.

It’s not terribly strong but also I’ve always been careful to only apply a tiny bit while at home because it’s so out there. I had to try it just to see.
