1. This scent reminds me so much of a much-beloved scent that I had from a (sadly long-closed-down!) perfume house called Enchanticals!

   I had this perfume bottle called ‘Fat Lady’ (which smells like a smorgasbord of ultra-buttery, sweet candy, and browned-baked-goods). I LOVED Fat Lady, it’s a total comfort scent that’s unapologetically high-calorie (much like Deevee!). However, unlike Fat Lady–which smells like something you’d wear to a summer carnival/barbecue–Devee smells like a Thanksgiving/Christmas Dinner version of Fat Lady.

   It starts off smelling like a swipe of golden butter on me, creamy yet light thanks to this airy and fluffy ‘furry musk’. Five minutes later, I get a lump of classic Bazooka-gum in the center of the fragrance (it’s very realistic and pink), and then I get oozy pecan pie after ten minutes (it’s the strongest note for me–and it smells exactly like digging into Patisserie Valerie’s pecan tarts).

   Over time, the bubblegum fades (sadly, it’s my favorite note), and my skin basically smells like caramelised nuts and butter for the rest of the day. It’s got a very good longevity, but it’s definitely a winter’s scent because the pecan’s quite rich for warmer seasons. So if you love the smell of a true pecan pie (or are nostalgic for the smell of caramelised nuts cooking away), Devee does a perfect rendition of it.

2. This is everything the description promises it to be and I love it! Tooth-achingly sweet at first, but once it mellows out (and loses it’s yummy bubblegum top note) it becomes more fudgy and fun. It almost tickles your nose, I’m guessing that’s the fur note.
