let me say firstly that i’m not normally a fan of smoky scents – they tend to be amped on my skin and leave me with a headache, especially in conjunction with incense-y notes. this, however, is a lovely, masc-leaning scent and while smoke is definitely the forefront of the pack, i do smell woods and leaves playing in the back. not much leather. i think this would be lovely when layered with one of their stronger woodsy scents (perhaps transylvania or riven)
